Electrical thermometers designed for measuring temperatures in the stern tube. Due to the flexible sheathed cable and the adjustable process connection the thermometers can be easily and individually adapted to the different locations in stern tubes.

The flexible part of these probes is a mineral insulated cable, the so called sheathed cable. It consists of a stainless steel outer sheath, in which the inner conductors are embedded for insulation and pressed in a highly compacted ceramic mass.

Cable and / or connection box are available as an option. With resistance thermometers a PTFE cable, shielded with an aluminium foil is used, which is suitable for temperatures up to 200 °C. The PTFE-glass filament cable of the thermocouples is armoured with a galvanised steel braid and is suitable for temperatures up to 250 °C.

As an option a second process connection for mounting the cable is available.
